I would not have come up with this color combination in my wildest dreams. But it’s undeniable, this very scene occurred right in front of my studio in Missouri. The Dogwood is in full bloom, beautiful! It reminds me of a gorgeous cake with pink frosting… It gets even more colorful when a group of American Goldfinches decides to land in the dogwood tree. The birds attack the flowers with great vigor. It looks like vandalism but I suspect they are looking for seeds.
